The Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) has had ten years of experience undertaking interdisciplinary policy and academic research on internet and digital technologies. An NGO with offices in Bengaluru and New Delhi, research focuses include accessibility for persons with disabilities, access to knowledge, openness (including open data, free and open source software, open standards, open access, open educational resources, and open video), internet governance, telecommunication, and Researchers at Work [RAW].
